Surprised you covered Tsukuyumi. As a backer of 2.0 I can say that the minis are pretty garbage tier. I'm torn on whether to back. On one hand, in theory it will "fix" all the defects and issues with 2.0 but...on the other hand....throwing more money at the problem is kinda annoying. I really wish GreyFox were not involved but at least this time King Raccoon say they're going to keep a tight leash on them (since all the production issues in 2.0 were due to GFG not doing due diligence with their QA of the MPC)

I don't trust Monolith with anything since they screwed over everyone who bought Orcquest Warpath by not including any campaign guidelines and not balancing the game so you can play it through start to finish without becoming massively overpowered. They've been promising to publish these guidelines ever since they delivered the game in October 2023. Their last update was during their Conan campaign when people were complaining on the GF page, so Monolith promised the guidelines would be published the next month. That was over 3 months ago and they've been silent ever since. Monolith is also facing backlash because their delivery of Batman Season 3 is riddled with problems including: missing stretch goals, missing content, items promised as single sided end up being double sided, English rulebook is literally half French, numerous errors in reference cards, etc...

I backed blood, really looking forward to this, and I will 100% be into Terrorscape, I backed it last time and it was well worth the money, Ice Makes ran a fantastic campaign, but it did go sideways when it came to fulfillment, I hope they learnt some lessons. The sundrops a bit weird though, I wont be buying that as I painted all the minis up pretty quickly and will do so with new stuff.

How can something been stolen when the creators have always paid homage to Beserk and stated that it was an inspiration? I think you are selling APG short here - its not like they ever claimed everything they created was fresh.

If you could only pick 1 of the following options due to finances - which would you pick?? 1) grab odalin (not all in but extensive pledge) 2) grab Dante instead (i know you work for company) 3) Blood looks awesome. 4) wait for Story of Many or Lands of Evershade (AR hasnt done me wrong yet and SoM looks interesting) 5) Try to find Chronicles of Drunagor on 2nd Market as i may like that one. I've had my kickstarter page set up for 8 years and have not pressed the button to launch. i have been watching many videos throughout the years and one in particular was about email listings of backers/investors. also driving the audience to your page because it dosent do that itself. this scared me from launching ive been holding on to a ground breaking board game a video said dont kickstart without a copyright so i got a lawyer and my patent is now pending. i have one more month to go. do you have any advice that can help me with finding people to reach out to to back my project before i launch it? or should i just get a business loan im a 100% sure my game is unique and enjoyable as i traveled to canada and mexico with it and attracted blocks of people just to watch 4 people play it. my lawyer alos recently attended gdc and has high expectations for the product ive made as it relates to nothing seen before.

I'll say, I do like the new review style with just video of game components rather than looking at a person talking with a game in front of them.

I run a board game group at our local school. I put up a few posters for advertising purposes (at school). I also used a meeple for this. But beforehand I asked the German license holder and got even better pictures from there. This is hobby for them. They also supported me with 3 games.

This may end up being a cause of Genericide "When a trademark or name becomes so commonly used to describe something that it's considered generic, the rights can be revoked by a court. This makes it possible for other companies to use the same name in their branding and marketing. For example, the trademarks for the escalator, yo-yo, and laundromat were all revoked in court." I have read articles about companies having their own products trademarked/copyrighted by someone else and losing rights to their product, though it is a rare thing to happen. That being said it may just be a way to ensure it is thiers or to guarantee they cannot lost it. Interestingly I did find out that games rules cannot by copyrighted or patented.

Thank you for the video! I tried to love this game, but it is just a mass-produced fantasy game for me and I feel it a bit overprized. I have already pledged Grimcoven, so I spent my money for a while, but if I could afford one more I would pick Blood instead. Just waiting for Diablo board game anyway.

Grimcoven also has the forced attacking of your teammates as well.. I guess they all got it from Arcadia quest or something...

Really amazing preview. Gameplay and minis look phenomenal (ofcouse it's Dragoni). Not as magnetized to the theme. But it seems there's alot of current kickstarters that are darker fare.

Think I will pass for now. Looks good but I just don’t need more RPG of any kind right now. If it comes back in 3-4 years I will reassess.

Wish I could see more of the dungeon tiles and what a complete setup looks like. Minis look great, but make no sense if they don’t have an interesting environment to travel and have combat in.
